RCN Foundation partners with PayPlan to support healthcare workers in financial difficulty
RCN (Royal College of Nursing) Foundation has partnered with free debt advice provider, PayPlan, to support nurses, midwives and healthcare support workers get their finances back on track.
Through RCN Foundation, those who are worried about their financial situation can now be seamlessly referred to PayPlan for support with tackling their money worries.
Deepa Korea, Director, RCN Foundation, said: “Many nursing and midwifery staff have faced unexpectedly high costs or reduced income during the pandemic.
“More than half of the applicants seeking a grant from the RCN Foundation Benevolent Service have reported unmanageable levels of debt which is having an impact on their mental health and wellbeing.
“We’re really pleased to partner with PayPlan so we can ensure every member of our nursing team has access to holistic debt advice as and when they need it.”
